Wilson Rehrer

Wilson P. Rehrer, 90, of Ontelaunee Twp. passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 6:00 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient for a day.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul Leroy Rehrer and Norma Rhea (Trumbore) Rehrer, and widower of the late Grace M. Rehrer, who passed away on November 6, 2009.

He was a 1936 graduate of Shillington High School and served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.

He worked as a dark room technician in local photo shops, and retired in 1986 after many years of service as a Metallurgist for Carpenter Technology Corporation.

He is survived by his son: Robert W. Rehrer, husband of Marcia Rehrer of Wernersville.

There is also a granddaughter: Jennifer L. (Rehrer), wife of Jason Harter of Shillington; and two step grandsons: Raymond and Matthew Hildenbrand.

He is also survived by a brother: Harvey Eugene Rehrer of Sacramento, CA.
