William Summers

William W. (Billy) Summers, 67, of Reading, passed away November 23, 2009 at 3:30 AM in his residence. He was the husband of Susan F. (Wanner) Summers. Born in Reading on April 19, 1942, he was the son of the late William I. and Laura J. (Hoffert) Summers.

Mr. Summers was employed in the maintenance department of Reading Eagle Company for 30 years retiring in 2002.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 stepsons Jason R. Wanner of Mohnton and Jamie R. Wanner and his wife Crystal Wanner of Shillington, a step grandson Aidan R. Wanner, a sister Eleanor M. (Summers) Runkle and her companion Charles Martenez of Coxsackie, NY and a nephew Mark James. He was predeceased by a nephew Michael James.
