William Smith

William C. Smith , 90, of Reading, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 in his home. He was the husband of Grace L. (Seidel) Smith. Born in Reading, Mr. Smith was the son of the late William A. Smith and Leona D. (Wolf) Kiwak. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Reading and was employed as a machine operator at Molly Fastener Division of Black & Decker in Temple for 21 years retiring in 1991. In addition to his wife Mr. Smith is survived by his brothers John A. Kiwak, husband of Joan Kiwak of Blandon and Gene T. Kiwak, husband of Carol A. Kiwak of Reading and his sister Joan S. Bates, wife of James E. Bates of Reading.
Memorial Service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church 33 South 11th Street, Reading, PA 19602, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Sonja Ware will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Spies-Zion Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Grace Lutheran Church Tuesday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund at the above address in memory of Mr. William C. Smith.
