William F. Preneta

William F. Preneta, 84, of Leesport, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was the loving husband to Marien F. (Scislaw) for over 54 years of marriage, before her passing on July 19, 2021. Born in Frackville, William was the son of the late Frank Preneta and Catharine (Stabinsky). William served in the United States Army and worked as a bartender most his life at various places. 

William is survived by his daughters, Denise M. Sutter, wife of Tomas, of Exeter Township, Joan M. Kellenberger, wife of Keith, of Shillington, his grandchildren, Gene A. Kellenberger, Madison M. Sutter, and great grandchildren, Everleigh and Grayson Kellenberger.

In addition to his parents and wife Marien, William is predeceased by his 7 siblings.

Prayer service for William will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11 AM in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of St. George, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.
