William Earnest Langjahr Jr, 61, of Robesonia, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He was the beloved husband of Susan L. (Ruiz) Langjahr for 41 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William Langjahr, Chie Lowney (nee Sato) and survived by his stepfather George Lowney. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his daughters, Sulyn H. Langjahr, of Philadelphia; Christina Feineman, wife of Jonathan, of Wyomissing; and siblings, Lindy Dauber, wife of Joseph Dauber, of Philadelphia; Lester Langjahr, husband of Agnes Langjahr, of Maryland; Shirley Calvert, wife of Phil Calvert, of Doylestown; Betsy Torres, of Philadelphia and was a proud uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his siblings, Chie Riley, Earnest Langjahr and Robert Langjahr.
After graduation from Frankfurt American High School, Germany, William proudly served in the U.S Army. He went on to receive his Associates Degree in Engineering from Pennco Technical School. William worked for Eastman Kodak as an Engineer for 31 years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing all over. He also loved wood working, home remodeling and going to the casino.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, 19608 on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:30am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow at Saint Daniels Cemetery, 480 Big Spring Road, Robesonia, Pa 19551. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00am-11:30am at the funeral home.
