William Landis

William L. Landis, 80, of Wyomissing, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 5:00 am in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Donna T. (Kennedy) Landis who passed away October 23, 2017.  Born in Norristown, Mr. Landis was the son of the late William Henry Landis and Emily (Fosbenner) Landis.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lycoming College in 1963 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Landis was in sales at Mentholatum Company in Buffalo, New York for 17 years retiring in 2000.  He is survived by his daughter Laura L. Burkert, wife of Troy A. Burkert, Jr. of Spring Township and his grandchildren Kathryn and Joseph Burkert; Joshua and Jacob Healey.  He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Landis, husband of Ellen Landis of West Chester and was preceded in death by his daughter Marian Landis Healey, January 15, 2016 and his brother Richard Landis.

Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in memory of Mr. William L.
