William Kirkhoff

William J. Kirkhoff, 93, of West Lawn, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:54 pm in Country Meadows of Wyomissing. He was the husband of Thelma P. (Seifarth) Kirkhoff. Born in Penn Township, Berks County, Mr. Kirkhoff was the son of the late James J. and Minnie S. (Himmelberger) Kirkhoff. He was a Charter Member of Saint Peter's United Church of Christ in West Lawn, served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6150, Sinking Spring. Mr. Kirkhoff was a marketing representative for ARCO(formerly Atlantic Refining Co.) in Sinking Spring for 35 years retiring in 1983. In addition to his wife Thelma, he is survived by his daughter Beth K. Goldman of Wyomissing and his grandsons Miles K. Goldman and Ned P. Goldman. Mr. Kirkhoff is also survived by his brother James H. Kirkhoff of West Lawn and his sister Helen Remlinger of Wyomissing and was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Kathryn, Elsie, Bonnie and Betty.
Memorial Service will be held in Saint Peter's United Church of Christ 2901 Curtis Road, West Lawn, PA 19609 Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Dr. Kris A. Hayden will officiate. Interment will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Peter's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund at the above address in memory of Mr. William J.
