William Gaenzle

William E. Gaenzle, 82, of Spring Township, passed away February 14, 2009 at 6:02 am in his residence of natural causes. He was the husband of Gwendolyn L. (Good) Gaenzle to whom he was married for 60 years. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth(Printz) Gaenzle. Mr. Gaenzle was employed as a silk screen operator for Continental Can/Sonoco in Reading for 41 years retiring in 1989. He then was employed by Green Acres Golf Course working in the Club House for 12 years until October 2008. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church, West Lawn Senior Citizens, enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. In addition to his wife, Mr. Gaenzle is survived by daughters Janette A. Gaenzle of Denver, PA; Sandra E. wife of Robert A. Brown of Sinking Spring; son Brian E. husband of Wendy Gaenzle of Sinking Spring and grandchildren Jennifer A. Brown and Bradley C. Gaenzle.
