William Fry

William J. Fry, 84, of Shillington, passed away on August 26, 2018 at Manor Care Sinking Spring.
Born in Vinemont, he was the son of the late Harvey D. and Minerva (Marshall) Fry.
William was employed as a steelworker for Hofmann Industries. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR races, and county music, and will most be remembered for his jokes.
He was predeceased by his wife: Helen E. (Tobin) Fry, son: John W. Fry, and 5 siblings
Survivors include his children: Melanie A. Fry of Mohnton, James W. Fry, husband of Kathy of Honey Brook, Karen S. Fry of Reading, Donna M. Venning of Sinking Spring, and Lucy A. Holland, wife of Robert of West Lawn. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister: Maureen Leisey.
Memorial Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30-11:00AM.
