William C. Engle

William C. Engle, 86, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 8:25 pm at The Lutheran Home at Topton.  He was the husband of Rose Anne (Dunleavy) Engle.  Born in Hamburg, Mr. Engle was the son of the late William E. and Mabel S. (Rubright) Engle.  He served in the United States Army and was a cabinet maker for various cabinet manufacturers in Berks County.  In addition to his wife, Mr. Engle is survived by his children Duane E. Engle husband of Lynn Engle of Reading; Pamela A. Powell of Arizona; Brian L. Engle husband of Doreen Engle of Shoemakersville; Colanne M. Daniels wife of Neil Daniels of Reading; Justina L. Kessler wife of David Kessler of Reading; Christina S. Roeder wife of Timothy Roeder of Pottstown and his 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Mr. Engle is also survived by his sister Joanne Stine wife of Ernest Stine of Hamburg.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Pastor Bryan McNally will officiate.  Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  The family request that no flowers be sent.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
