William Daniels

William D. Daniels, 81, of East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, passed away May 22, 2010 at 5:00 am in Mifflin Center where he resided since April 29, 2010. He was the husband of the late Betty J. (Spangler) Daniels who passed away May 7, 1999. Born in Lykens, PA he was the son of the late Rev. Harry J. and Myrl P. (Bowers) Daniels. Mr. Daniels was President of Daniels Door Company in Denver. He served in the United States Army during Korea and won the Occupation Medal with Germany Clasp along with the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton and a member of Veteran of Foreign War in Adamstown. Mr. Daniels is survived by his son William C. Daniels of St. Lawrence, grandchildren Steve and Bridget, his sister Nancy M. wife of Jon W. Troutman of Shillington and his niece Kim S. wife of Richard Texter of West Wyomissing.
