William Culler

March 25, 1938 — May 4, 2010

William E. Culler, 72, of Heidelberg Township, passed away May 4, 2010 at 7:24 am in his residence. He is survived by his Loving Wife of 52 years, Rosalie N. (Wentworth) Culler. Born in Thompson Township, Fulton County, PA he was the son of the late Lloyd B. and Sylvia R. (Mellott) Culler. He was a Chief Radiologic Technologist for the Reading Hospital & Medical Center for 35 years, retiring in 2000. Mr. Culler was a graduate of McConnellsburg High School(PA) and attended Trinity ECC in Terre Hill. He served in the United States Navy and Marines from 1956-1965 during the Vietnam War and received his X-Ray Radiologic Technology education thru the Navy. He was an avid supporter of the United States Military and had a great love for his country. He was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, bowling and was an expert woodworker. He was a Loving Father to Dolores A. wife of Bradford R. Constable of Birdsboro, Carin M. wife of Scott W. Hickernell of St. Albans, West Virginia, Tammy J. wife of Douglas L. Adams of Terre Hill. He was a Dedicated and Loving Grandfather to Derek S. Hickernell, Caitlin B. Constable, Justine L. Good, Kyle B. Hickernell and Samantha L. Adams. He was a Dedicated and Loving Great Grandfather to Gavin and Tatum. He is also survived by siblings Martha wife of Robert Cutchall of Zullinger, PA and Lloyd A. husband of Patricia Culler of Mercersburg, PA and was preceded in death by his sister Leona Anderton.
