Wayne Larish, Sr.

Wayne O. Larish, Sr., 82, of Reading passed away with his family by his side on March 3, 2021 in Penn State Health – St. Joseph Medical Center.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Harry and Alverta (Hassler) Larish.  Wayne was the loving husband of Nancy A. (Lerch) Larish, together they shared almost 64 years of marriage.  Wayne was a bus driver for Barta for 30 years before retiring.  He enjoyed going to the casino and was a breakfast regular at Crossroads Family Restaurant.  Wayne loved taking care of his lawn but loved taking care of others more.  He had a big heart and was a wonderful man who will be missed dearly by many.

Along with his loving wife, Nancy, Wayne is survived by his two amazing children; Wayne O. Larish, Jr., husband of Justine of Leesport and Cindy Kochel, wife of David of Millsboro, DE.  Also surviving are his grandchildren; Alicia, Devin, Angela, Dexter, and Lenae, his 7 great grandchildren, his 1 great great grandchild, and his siblings; Gerald Larish, Russell Larish, and Dolores Stoyer.  Wayne is preceded in death by his siblings; Jane Slemmer, Beverly Sittaro, Shirley Huyett, and Harry Larish.

The family will receive friends and relatives Monday, March 8, 2021 in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
