Wayne Gohacki

Wayne C. Gohacki, 75, of Cumru Township, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 3:32 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  He was the husband of Ellen G. (Borkow) Gohacki.  Born in Bethel Park, PA, Mr. Gohacki was the son of the late Leon J. and Winifred (Molnar) Gohacki.  He was a member of the Church of Saint Benedict, Mohnton and received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University.  Mr. Gohacki enjoyed a successful career with Jones and Laughlin Steel, Kaiser Aluminum, Allied Steel Exxon, Metropolitan Edison, GPU, and most recently Air Products.  A champion of people’s rights and social equality, he was a lover of the outdoors, travel, and, above all, golf.  Besides his wife, Mr. Gohacki is survived by his sons: Geoffrey P. Gohacki, husband of Vanessa J. Anton of Puerto Rico; Michael C. Gohacki, husband of Melissa Orr of Brooklyn, New York; Brian W. Gohacki at home. He is also survived by his grandsons Miro and Emmett Gohacki; his brothers Warren A. Gohacki, husband of Carmina G. Gohacki of Norwich, Connecticut and Leon Gohacki, husband of the late Carol Gohacki of Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Interment will be held at the convenience at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Mr. Wayne C.
