Virginia Stauffer

November 21, 1917 — June 16, 2011

Virginia B. "Dinty" Stauffer, 93, of Cumru Township, passed away June 16, 2011 at 5:30 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of George E. Stauffer. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daugther of the late John M. and Alwilda S. (O'Donnell) Boland. Mrs. Stauffer was a graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg and was employed by the Gov. Mifflin School District for 18 years retiring June 17, 1980. She was an active member of St. John Baptist de la Salle RCC, a member of the Shillington Pool, and as an athlete participated as an equestrian, archer and tennis player. She was a loving wife and mother devoted to her family and her friends. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters Deatra M. (Stauffer) wife of Ronald L. Quell of Thornton, PA, Gabrielle J. "Wink" (Stauffer) wife of Terrence M. Dietrich of Cumru Township and Darcye A. (Stauffer) widow of Frank Morawski of Cumru Township along with her granddaughters Tiffany (Quell) wife of Jeffrey Friedman, Stephanie (Quell) wife of William King, Heather (Blankhorn) wife of Brad Kendall as well as 7 great grandchildren and several nieces. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers Stephen, Vincent, John and William Boland and 2 sisters Genmevieve (Boland) Otto and Mabel (Boland) Bishop.
