Virginia Miller

Virginia G. (Hoffman) Miller, 91, formerly of Shillington, passed away Wednesday, March 25th at the Reading Hospital and the Medical Center, where she had been a patient since March 10th.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. Hoffman and Clara (Frymoyer) Hoffman, and widow of the late of Russell H. Miller, who passed away on February 11, 1998.

She worked as a candy packer for the former Luden's in Reading for 30 years, retiring in 1975.

She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Congregational Church, Shillington.

She loved spending time at the shore with her family.

She is survived by a son: Russell K. Miller of Mertztown; daughters: Linda L. Cavalluci of Shillington, Patricia A. Maurer of Exeter Twp., and Ruth Jeffries of North East, MD.

There are also 18 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

She is also survived by a sister: Catherine (Hoffman) Schlaybach of Reading.

In addition to her parents, she is pre deceased by a son: Earl C., daughter: Catherine E. Robertson, and siblings: Edward, Albert, William, Jeannette, Margaret, and Irene.
