Virginia Levan

Virginia E. "Ginny" LeVan, 87, formerly of Mount Penn, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at 7:30 am in Tel Hai Retirement Living Center. She was the wife of the late Stewart Neal LeVan who passed away February 13, 2018. Born in Reading, Mrs. LeVan was the daughter of the late Gordon and Norma (Quinter) Metz. She attended Saint John's UCC in Gibraltar and was a Kindergarten Teacher in the Mifflin and Exeter School Districts beginning in 1953. Mrs. LeVan was the founder and director of Trinity Learning Center in Mount Penn. She is survived by her children James S. LeVan, husband of Nancy LeVan of Wheaton, Maryland; Beth E. Schlagnhaufer, wife of Carl Schlagnhaufer of State College; Heather L. Antrim, wife of Erin Antrim of Boyertown; Hugh E. LeVan, husband of Tonya LeVan of Fleetwood and Barbara LeVan of Las Vegas and her grandchildren Emily A. LeVan; Sydney A. LeVan and Noa S. Antrim. Mrs. LeVan is also survived by her sister Louise Meyer of Baltimore, Maryland.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10:30 am. Reverend Bruce Kreisher will officiate. Interment will be held privately by the family in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Saturday 9:30-10:30 am.
