Virginia R. Huyett

Virginia R. Huyett, 86, of Kenhorst, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Lee A. Huyett. Together they shared 44 years of marriage. Born on November 7, 1937, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Grace (Steininger) Parkyn. Virginia was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, Class of 1955. During her life, she work as an Office Manager for Berks Art, until retirement. Virginia enjoyed sewing, gardening, bird watching, and was an avid animal lover. She was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sinking Spring.

Virginia is survived by her husband Lee A. Huyett, of Kenhorst; granddaughter, Tammy S. Hutcherson, wife of Matthew A. Hutcherson, of Culpeper, VA; and daughter-in-law, Darlene C. Hastings, wife of Robert J. Hastings, of Hanover, PA.

Virginia was predeceased by her son Gregory G. Rotz, who passed away on July 2, 2002.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church 4125 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00am.
