Virginia Blewett

Virginia F. Blewett, 87, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away July 4, 2009 at 11:45 pm in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by her Loving Husband John H. Blewett to whom she has been married since July 11, 1942. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Phares Fink and Gladys(Ruth) Smith. Mrs. Blewett was a 1940 graduate of Reading High School. She was a sales representative for Boscov's Department Stores as well as Bally, Banks and Biddle Jewelry Store in the Berkshire Mall. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Reading and a member of the Wives of Professional Engineers. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Blewett was a Loving Mother to her daughter JoAnne Foss of Lancaster and a Loving Grandmother to her granddaughter, Melissa wife of John Nehring of Hackettstown, New Jersey. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Reppert of Alsace Manor. Mrs. Blewett was preceded in death by her grandson Brian J. Foss, September 6, 2003.
