Virginia Berardi

Virginia E. Berardi, 94, of The Heritage of Green Hills, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 7:45 pm in The Henry Health Care Center at Topton Lutheran Home. She is survived by her Loving Husband of 72 years, Joseph R. Berardi, Sr. Born in Wellsville, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda (Miela) Moricca. She was a 1938 graduate of Olean High School in Olean, New York and was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church. She was a Loving Mother to her sons Joseph R. Berardi, Jr., MD, husband of RoseAnn Berardi of Amherst, New York and Thomas R. Berardi, husband of Ann Marie Berardi of Collegeville. She was a Loving Grandmother to Joanna, Jeffrey, Justin, Virginia, Kathleen, Joseph III, Thomas Jr., and Nicholas and a Loving Great Grandmother to Caitlin, Gavin, Annabelle, Violet, Valerie and Kayla.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Plowville, Robeson Township, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reverend Philip F. Rodgers, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6-8:00 pm and in St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church Wednesday 10-10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory Homes, 780 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, New York 14218 in memory of Mrs. Virginia E. Berardi.
