Virginia Babb

Virginia R. Babb, 85, of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late James S. Babb who passed away on January 9, 2017. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Victor S. Homan and Lillian E. (Miller) Homan. Mrs. Babb was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1950. During her life she was employed by Beamont Heller & Sperling, Herman F. Kotzen, MD, the Amity Township Municipal Office and the Lehigh Valley Arts Council in Bethlehem. She was also a watercolorist of note. Kindness was a word that was said daily, but her kindness was the type that would make you reconsider the meaning. Loved by all, she made the world a better place and she will be truly missed. She is survived by her children, Julie E. Patton, companion of Michael Gamber, of Reading; Marilyn S. James, of Reading ; James V. Babb, husband of Bonnie Babb, of Exeter Township, along with her grandchildren Jacob J. Babb, Allison J. Babb, Sarah L. Babb and sister June Fry of Lititz, PA.
