Violet M. Clouse, 94, formerly of Sencit Townhouse Apartments, passed away August 22, 2009 at 10:10 AM in ManorCare Health Services in Sinking Spring where she resided for 6 months. She was the wife of Floyd L. Clouse who passed away in 1957. Born in Reading on September 22, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Elizabeth (Romig) Himmelberger.
Mrs. Clouse was employed at Palmer Candy Company, West Reading, as a candy packer for 8 years, retiring in 1977.
Surviving are a daughter Patricia L. (Clouse) widow of Thomas E. Pfaffman of Denver, PA, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 3 children Floyd L. Clouse Jr., John E. Clouse and Kay D. (Clouse) Miller and a grandson Todd E. Pfaffman.
