Viola Moyer

Viola M. Moyer, 94, formerly of Shillington, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:16 pm in Mifflin Center. Born in Reinholds, Ms. Moyer was the daughter of the late Milton and Stella (Trostle) Buchter. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Sinking Spring and was a machine operator at Narrow Fabric in West Reading for 15 years, retiring in 1987. Ms. Moyer is survived by her daughter Lorraine J. Shaw of Sinking Spring and her grandson Michael J. Shaw, husband of Mary-Jo Shaw and her great grandson Parker J. Shaw. She is also survived by her brother Charles Buchter, husband of Ruth Buchter of Shillington.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Robert Ziehmer will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Wednesday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's Reformed Church 4001 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 in memory of Ms. Viola M. Moyer.
