Tracie L. Denunzio

Tracie L. Denunzio, 66, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Hospital after a battle with cancer. Born on October 18, 1957, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul Pearson and Jacqueline (Hoffman) Pearson, of Reading. She was the beloved wife of Ricky D. Denunzio of 49 years, of Reading, with two sisters, Robin Webster, of Florida; and Patti-Jo Krause, of Hamburg; two sons, Chad R. Denunzio, husband of Kelly E. (Renninger) Denunzio, of Sinking Spring; Jeremy P. Denunzio, partner of Erica A. Shortridge, of Bern Township; 4 grandchildren, Nolan, Parker, Mason, and Cecelia.

She graduated from Reading High School Class of 1975. Tracie worked for over 30 years as an emergency room secretary at the original St. Joseph Hospital of Reading and at Penn State St. Joseph of Bern Township. She also worked as the emergency room doctor coordinator for Team Health and later for Ciox Medical Records for Penn State St. Joseph retiring in 2023. Besides her two sons, she had many others who looked at her as their second mom getting the nickname Mimi to all. Tracie loved watching her grandchildren play baseball and field hockey and had a love for the casinos.
