Timothy Michael McLean, 65, of East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:30 am in his residence. He was the husband of Sharon Lynne (Putt) McLean. Born in Reading, Mr. McLean was the son of Rosemarie (Bush) McLean and the late Dale McLean. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church and served in the United States Navy. Mr. McLean was employed by the United States Postal Service in Reading as an LSM operator for over 30 years retiring in 2013. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. McLean is survived by his children Colin B. McLean, husband of Basma Abouelenein of Phoenixville; Braeden W. McLean at home and Ashleigh E. McLean at home. He is also survived by his sister Erin Bare, wife of Rich Bare of Exeter Township and their children Ryan, Ian and Olivia.
Timothy’s love of music and irreverent sense of humor endeared his friends and family to him, and he took great joy in sharing his favorite songs and bands with his children and loved ones. His wit, knowledge, and compassion will be missed by those close to him.
Graveside Service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, Monday, November 28, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Timothy Michael McLean.
