Thomas A. Tagert, 66, of Exeter Township, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 7:20 am in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Rothermel) Tagert. Born in Douglassville, he was the son of the late Harold and Bertha (Bernet) Tagert. Tom was graduate of Daniel Boone High School and was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Sinking Spring. He was the owner of Tagert's Auto in Baumstown for 25 years and a Realtor for REMAX of Reading for 15 years. He also was Bus Driver and a Certified Aide for Opportunity House in Reading and work part time for Rhoads Limousine Service. In addition to his wife Nancy, Tom is survived by his children T. Eric Tagert, husband of Leah Tagert; Christopher M. Tagert and Benjamin J. Tagert and his 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Abigail A. Tagert who passed away December 7, 2005. Tom is also survived by his step children Daniel A. Pusch, Jr. and Rebecca L. Thompson, wife of Eric G. Thompson. Tom was a member of Berks HOG Chapter Motorcycle organization and was a member and treasurer of South End Gun Club.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held in Calvary Bible Fellowship Church 4891 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 7:00 pm. Pastor Stan Lauterback will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Fellowship Church at the above address or U.S. Renal Care, Inc. 5 Sunnybrook Road #500, Pottstown, PA 19464 in memory of Mr. Thomas A.
