Thomas Dang

Thomas Dang, 63, of Laureldale, passed away November 6, 2010. He was the husband of Marianne Nguyen Dang. Born in Duong Dong, Phu Quoc, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Thinh Dang and Ba Lam.

He was a captain in the artillery division of the South Vietnamese Army. Thomas received a Master's degree in Engineering from Clemson University. He was employed as a Senior Engineer for 20 years at Agere Systems retiring in 2003. Mr. Dang was a member of Holy Guardian Angels RCC.

He received a patent award in 2002 for the Rise and Fall Time Measurement Circuit.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Baphuc Dang of Reinholds, 2 daughters Phuong-Khanh Dang of Lansdale and Dr. Nam-Phuong (Dang) Leung wife of Arthur T. Leung of Saratoga, CA.
