Thomas Coleman

Thomas J. Coleman, 69, of Muhlenberg Twp. and formerly of Reading, passed away April 3, 2010. Born in Reading on January 19, 1941, he was the son of the late Miles and Mary (Gehringer) Coleman.

Mr. Coleman was a 1960 graduate of Reading High School and graduated with an associate degree in Electrican Engineering from Wyomissing Poly Tech Institute.

Thomas was employed as an electrician by Car Tech for 45 years retiring in January of 2009. He was an avid gardner, loved football, tennis and his children, grandchildren and great grandson.

Surviving are 3 daughters Kathleen M. (Coleman) wife of Miyo F. Lopez of Muhlenberg Twp., Connie L. (Coleman) wife of Dean R. Orwan of Temple and Cheri L. (Coleman) wife of David B. Whitford of Birdsboro, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 sister Theresa Coleman of Reading and 4 brothers Miles Coleman Jr. of Reading, Gerald Coleman of Reading, Michael Coleman of Shoemakersville and Francis Coleman of Harrisburg. He was predeceased by an infant brother Michael Coleman.
