Thomas Cadmus, Jr

Thomas W. Cadmus, Jr. formerly of Spring Township, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 4:00 pm in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Lynne C. (Chelius) Cadmus who passed away May 12, 2012. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Mr. Cadmus was the son of the late Thomas W. Cadmus, Sr. and Mildred (Lynn) Cadmus. He was a 1955 graduate of Hamburg High School and Kutztown University with a Bachelors of Science degree and Masters degree in Education. Mr. Cadmus served in the United States Navy and was an English Teacher in the Reading School District for over 30 years retiring in 1993. He was a life member of the Berks County Retired Teacher's Association; PA State Association of School Retirees; South Berks School Retirees and the Reading School Retirees. Mr. Cadmus is survived by his son Blake T. Cadmus, husband of Danielle J. Cadmus of Yardley, PA along with his three grandchildren Echo; Violet and Azzurro. He was preceded in death by his son Bret T. Cadmus, husband of Beth Zimmerman Cadmus of Robesonia, who passed away June 2012.
