Theresa Seidel

Theresa R.Seidel, 87, of Ruscombmanor Twp. passed in her sleep at the Reading Hospital.
Born in Oley, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Loretta (Harter) Essig. She often shared childhood memories of their homestead along the Manatawny Creek.
Theresa was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was employed 28 years within the Oley Valley School District Cafeterias. She was also employed at Ludwig's Market, Breezy Corner and Temple Shure Fine store.
Theresa enjoyed bird watching, feeding her birds and humming birds. She also enjoyed road trips to Florida, western states touring and friends at the cabin. Her most important joy was her Family - Five Great Grandchildren, Seven Grandchildren, Three Children, and their spouses.
Theresa was predeceased three years ago, by her husband of 62 years, Richard L. Seidel.
She has three surviving siblings, 'Bernie' Essig, 'Pat' (Essig) Einsig, and John Essig.
A memorial service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, N.16th & Rockland Sts., Hampden Heights, on April 13, 2018 at 7:30 PM. The Family will receive friends and relatives starting at 6:30 PM.
