Theodora Scheck

Theodora "Teddy" Scheck, 85, of Reading, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 6:33 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for less than a day.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Stavros Koumaras and Aspacia M. (Spanu) Koumaras, and widow of the late Charles W. Scheck Sr., who passed away on October 25, 1996.

She was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School, and worked as a secretary for Nichols Dept. Store and David Crystal Clothier for many years.

She is survived by her son: Charles W., husband of Julia Scheck Jr. of College Heights.

There is also a grandson: Jason L. Scheck of Muhlenberg Twp., and three great grandchildren: Jonathan, Emily, and Ethan.
