Thelma Koehler

Thelma G. Koehler, 82, of Cumru Township, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 7:55 am in Berks County Home-Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late Kermit A. Koehler who passed away June 20, 2015. Born in Kathryn, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elza E. and Effie E. (Fox) Kincaid. She was a housekeeper/messenger for St. Joseph Hospital in Reading for 4 years, retiring in 1977 and previously worked as a beautician in Maryland, Virginia California and was a member of Community Evangelical Congregational Church in Sinking Spring. Mrs. Koehler is survived by her special friends Bill, Karon and Colin Brosey along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reverend Michael A. Snedeker will officiate. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 10-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Evangelical Congregational Church, 51 Green Valley Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608 in memory of Mrs. Thelma G. Koehler.
