Terry Boyer

Terry A. Boyer, 76, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 3:51 am in his residence.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clayton D. and Alta (Patterson) Boyer.  Mr. Boyer was employed as an operations manager for BARTA for 13 years retiring in 1999 and then a motor coach driver for Krapf Coaches retiring in 2004.  He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner; member of Masonic Lodge #227 F&AM; Provost Guard of the Shrine; Reading Consistory and Rajah Temple.  Mr. Boyer is survived by his children Alicia D. Spencer of Muhlenberg Township; Scott D. Boyer, husband of Kim Conkey of Houston, Texas  his 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers Leon Boyer of New Jersey; Lynn Boyer, husband of Peggy Boyer of Hyde Park; William Boyer of Hyde Park and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by 3 wives, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral  Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10:00 am.  Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate.  Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Masonic Service conducted by Chandler Lodge #227 at 6:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Rajah Shrine, 221 Orchard Road, Reading, PA 19605 to the attention of Ronald Rapp in memory of Mr. Terry A.
