Teresa Cruz

Teresa Figueroa Cruz, 91, of Spring Township, passed away Tuesday February 23, 2021 at 3:03 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Luis Antonio Ortiz, Sr.  Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Ms. Figueroa was the daughter of the late Emilio Figueroa and Juana Figueroa Cruz.  She attended Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Sinking Spring and was a nurse practitioner in her early years.  Ms. Figueroa is survived by her children Evelyn Colon with whom she last resided; Luis Antonio Ortiz, Jr. of Moscow, PA; Nancy Oritz of Florida; Betsy Boldy, wife of Raymond Boldy of Connecticut; Carmen Baker of Arizona; her 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Graveside Service will be held privately by the family at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 in memory of Ms. Teresa Figueroa Cruz.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
