Suraj Budhu

Suraj “Peter” Budhu, 41, of Spring Township, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Dian (Raghoo) Budhu.  Born in Guyana, South America, Peter was the son of Jagdeo Budhu of New York and Nina Wattie of Sinking Spring Township.  He was a member of Lighhouse Christian Center in Reading and was a self-employed auto mechanic.  Peter is also survived by his children Jason and Alyssa Budhu at home; brother Danny Budhu of New York; sisters,  Urmila Budhu of Florida, Nazema Chaitlall of New York, Karen Budhu of New York and his step-mother Sitama Budhu of New York.

Funeral Service will be held in Lighthouse Christian Center, 37 South 5th Street, Reading, Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 12:00 pm.  Pastor S.R. Behm will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sinking Spring Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
