Stephen Skobel

Stephen Francis Skobel, 67, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in his residence. He was the beloved husband of Theresa L. (Dziamba) Skobel of Exeter Township. Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin Skobel and Helen (Tym).  Stephen was a 1971 graduate of Shenandoah High School.

During his life, he was a Maintenance Mechanic lastly working for Crossroads Beverage, until retirement.

Steve was an avid racing fan who loved to travel, go to concerts, cook, and entertain. He loved meeting new people and sharing stories over the backyard fire pit with a glass of wine. His home was his sanctuary and he worked hard to make it a warm and welcoming place for friends and family to gather. The happiness of others was always his number one priority.

In addition to his wife Theresa, he is survived by his children, Brad, husband of Alana of Collegeville; Paul, husband of Amanda, of Leesport; Marlies, of Reading; Janelle, of Los Angeles, CA; and grandchild, Micah. Stephen is also survived by his siblings Jean, Robert, Benjamin, and Maria.

Funeral service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm and Thursday, May 6 from 10:00am- 11:00am at the funeral home.
