Stella Ninfo

Stella Ninfo, 90, of Reading, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Augustus "Augie" Ninfo who passed away February 22, 1990. Born in Reading, Mrs. Ninfo was the daughter of the late Speros and Effie (Anastasiadis) Devedzes. She was a member of Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and was a member of the Philoptochos. Mrs. Ninfo was the owner of the Orginal Augie's Sandwich Shop in Reading. She is survived by her children Sandra M. Odagis, wife of Nicholas W. Odagis of Wyomissing; Augustus S. "Augie" Ninfo, husband of Mary L. Ninfo of Wyomissing and Kathryn J. Dawson of Reading and her 8 grandchildren Nicholas Odagis, III; Dean Odagis; Stephanie Odagis; Michael Odagis; Danielle Ninfo; Alexis Ninfo; Denise Dawson and Linda Dawson and her 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Thomas Devedzes; Mary Harris; Annie Kranis; James Devedzes and Bessie Sophianas.
Funeral Service will be held in Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church 1001 East Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Thomas L. Pappalas will officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church Monday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Stella Ninfo.
