Stanley Griffin Pounds of Marysville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. Stan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Rose (Aulicino) and Mack Pounds on January 24, 1957. Rose and Mack were both in the military and stationed in Hawaii. Afterwards they moved with Stan to New York and then eventually moved to Hopatcong, NJ, where Stan grew up along with his younger brother Robert.
Stan is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Eileen (Lang) Pounds, and his three daughters, Alisson Wismer and her husband Jay, Jessica Pounds and her husband BJ, and Rebecca Pounds and her son Lincoln. He is also survived by his brother Robert and his wife Janine.
Stan was a mechanical engineer and earned his bachelor’s degree at NJIT in New Jersey. At the time of his death Stan worked for FM Analytical as a field quality engineer. Stan loved fishing, motorcycles, and cars – however the thing he loved most was spending time with his wife and his girls, who were all a source of pride for Stan.
A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring. Inurnment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Stan’s memory to, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
