Stanley Richards

Stanley T. Richards, 89, of Reading, passed away January 13, 2010 at 8:02 AM in ECC Retirement Village, Myerstown where he resided since December 31, 2009. He was the husband of Pearl E. (Davidheiser) Richards who passed away January 11, 1999. Born in Reading on July 23, 1920, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Cardos) Richards.

Stanley was employed in the Maintainence Departmant of St. Joseph Hospital for 8 years retiring in 1999 earlier he worked as a groundskeeper at Forest Hills Memorial Park for 42 years.

Surviving are a daughter Eileen P. (Richards) wife of Donald E. Heydt of Stouchsburg, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 brothers James Richards of Fleetwood, and Charles Richards of Chincoteague, VA. He was predeceased by a son Robert S. Richards in July of 1997.
