Stanley Paul Heimbach, Jr., 82, of Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 in his residence. He was the husband of Janet Marie Heimbach. Born in Reading, Mr. Heimbach was the son of the late Stanley Paul Heimbach, Sr. and Verna (Schultz) Heimbach. He was a very active member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church in Sinking Spring serving as a Deacon and Elder. Mr. Heimbach served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd Class on the USNS Ponchatoula from August 29, 1955 to September 6, 1957 and in the United States Naval Reserves until August 3, 1961. He was a Buyer for Boscov's from January 1, 1960 until 2008 last serving as assistant store manager at Boscov's North. In addition to his wife, Mr. Heimbach is survived by his son Paul Edwin Heimbach, husband of Barbara E. Stock of Warsaw, Indiana and his daughter Christine Marie (Heimbach) Stapf, wife of John Nicolas Stapf of Marietta and his grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Stapf and Victoria Jade Heimbach. He is also survived by his siblings Dennis L. Heimbach, husband of Alice Heimbach of Shillington, Robert A. Heimbach, husband of Sandy Heimbach of West Lawn and Elaine J. (Heimbach) Hartman, wife of Phillip Hartman of Reading.
Funeral Service will be held in Calvary Bible Fellowship Church 4891 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 Friday April 6, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Wayne Rissmiller will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Calvary Bible Fellowship Church Friday, 9:45-10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Fellowship Church at the above address in memory of Mr. Stanley Paul Heimbach.
