Stanley Grabowski

Stanley J. (Steve) Grabowski, 82, of West Lawn, died April 25th, his wife’s birthday, after a valiant 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of the late Stanley and Jennie (Ciegloska) Grabowski. He was a graduate of New York Technical College and was employed by the New York City Board of Education as a supervisor of all trades in the 5 boroughs of New York City. He was the owner of Grabowski Electric and later Wayne Scott Electric prior to retiring in 2004 to the Reading area. He held a Master Electrical License for more than 50 years. Stanley had attended Immanuel UCC, in Shillington.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Gehris) and his son, Wayne S. Grabowski of Long Island, New York, a stepson, Michael J. Tyson of Virginia, a stepdaughter, Lisa M. Coltharp of Cypress, Texas. There are 7 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-granddaughter. He is also surivived by his sister, Stella Rabcow, of Lake Wales, Florida and his brother, Ted Grabowski, of Queens, New York. He is predeceased by his brother, John Grabowski, of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, and sister, Lorraine Nieves, of Clearwater, Florida.
