Solon J. "Sonny" Fox, 70, of West Lawn, passed away on Tuesday, March 17th, at home.
Born in Weisenerg Twp., Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Paul W. Fox and Mabel G. (Kutz) Fox.
He was the husband of Sharon L. (Scrimshaw) Fox at home.
He worked as a Molder at Stanley Flags in Pottstown, and later worked as both a Molder and Pipe Machine Operator for Eastern Foundry, last working in 1991.
He was a member of the Temple Fire Co., the Goodwill Beneficial Association in Hyde Park, the East Ends Athletic Club, and the Pikeville Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed working with wood, creating furniture, lawn ornaments, and his famous Christmas Reindeer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters: Melody A. (Fox) Hiester, wife of Frederick Hiester, of Hamburg, Kimberly A. Fox of Leesport; sons: Allen P. Fox, husband of Laura Fox of Blandon, Joel S. Fox, partner of Kathy Long, of Riverview Park, and James S. Fox, partner of Melissa Frey of Blandon.
There are also six grandchildren, one step grandchild, and eight great grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters: Dolores R. (Fox) Endy of Fleetwood, and Terry J. (Fox) Pastor of Robesonia, and a sister in law: Gale Fox of Exeter Twp., and nieces and nephews.
He is pre deceased by a brother: Gerald P. Fox, who passed away January 24, 2002.
