Shirley Mae Stump

Shirley Mae Stump, 92, of Reading PA, passed away on June 28th, 2023. She was born in Lyons on September 24th. 1930, the daughter of the late Lewis Phillips and Elizabeth (Loeb).

She worked and retired from Berkley of Shoemakersville as a line worker. Shirley enjoyed scary movies, card games, giving back rubs to the entire family, going to the Leesport Farmers Market and walking around the neighborhood with her significant other.

Shirley Mae is survived by her daughter Doris F. Smith, Granddaughter Jennifer Smith, grandson Danuel Smith and 2 great grandsons Elijah and Benjamin Smith.

She is preceded in the death by her sisters Dorothy, Eleanor, Ruth and her brothers Earl, Russel, Leroy and Raymond.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Bean Funeral Homes, 129 E. Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607.  Celebrant Amy Landis will celebrate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, July 11th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bean Funeral Homes, Shillington.  Inurnment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  Bean Funeral Homes, Shillington is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
