Sherwood Stetzler

Sherwood A. Stetzler, 79, of Reading, passed away Saturday October 22, 2022 at 12:27 am in Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Janet R. (Billitz) Stetzler.  Born in Ontelaunee Township, Mr. Stetzler was the son of the late Eli and Cora (Koller) Stetzler.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was employed as a foreman in the assembly department at Caloric in Topton for 27 years and then as a cashier at Redner’s Quik Shop in Bernville until his retirement.  Mr. Stetzler loved spending time with his family, crossword puzzles, watching baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies and was a member of the Goodwill Fire Company in Laureldale and the Shoemakersville Fire Company.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Beth E. Stetzler of Reading, Allan R. Stetzler of Reading and Brian R. Stetzler of Reading.  He is also survived by his brother Roger L. Stetzler of Hamburg and was preceded in death by Leon Stetzler and Dolores Spatz.
