Sharon Ann Zebertavage, 53, of Reading, passed away February 9, 2011 in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center after losing a courageous, 30 year battle with severe bipolar II disorder. Retaining her independence throughout her fight with the disease she had the extreme strength, tenacity, and fortitude to obtain three degrees, an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors from the Pennsylvania State University, Berks Campus, an Associate Degree in Photography, with honors, from Antonelli Institute of Art & Photography, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Design from the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science graduating summa cum laude. Prior to the full onset of the disease, Sharon enjoyed motorcycle riding, skydiving and photography, having owned her own studio, "Zebseye" for a short period. She was employed over the years as a tool engineer for Harley-Davidson York, Inc., a purchaser for Valley Forge Flag Co. of Womelsdorf, a design manager for Carnegie Fabrics, Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY and most recently as a manager for Roland Design Management, Inc. of Conshohocken, PA. Sharon is survived by her parents Joseph C. Zebertavage, Sr. and Mary T. (Pulaski) Zebertavage with whom she last resided along with her sister Joan M. wife of Charles Anderton of Leesport, brothers Joseph C. Jr. husband of Janice Zebertavage of Bern Township, David A. Zebertavage of Laureldale, Brian A. Zebertavage of Mohrsville and 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
