Sharon Heim

Sharon E. Heim, 73, of Flying Hills, entered eternal rest while surrounded by family members on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 6:40 am in Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, Sharon was the daughter of the late Arlington Walters and Ethel Hoffman. She was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School and retired from the litigation department at Santander Bank in Reading, in 2013, after 19 years of service. Sharon is survived by her children Denise L. Esterly, wife of Jeffrey S. Esterly of Shillington; Lori L. Fritz, wife of Allen R. Fritz of Leesport; Michele M. Calvaresi of Wyomissing; Ronald A. Heim, loving companion of Marcia M. Longenecker of West Lawn and Melissa J. Durinzi, wife of Armando F. Durinzi II of Muhlenberg Township. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kirsten Esterly; Kailey Esterly; Sarah Fritz; Ethan Fritz; Courtney(Shaub) Wenger, wife of Brandon Wenger; Kate-Lynn Shaub; Derek Longenecker; Armando Durinzi III and Andre Durinzi along with her great granddaughter Sienna. Also surviving is her brother David Walters, husband of Beatrice Walters of Reading and her sister Patricia Warunek, wife of Eugene Warunek of Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother Lester Walters, husband of Janet Walters of Wyomissing. Sharon is also survived by her loving companion Robert Salvati.
Sharon enjoyed traveling with Bob, with whom she spent many vacations in North Carolina. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach and, more than anything, loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her kitties, Mitzi and Max.
Memorial Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Friday from 9:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Sharon E.
