Scott M. Wagner

Scott M. Wagner, 64, of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn A. Wagner (Rupert). Together they shared 33 years of marriage. 

Born in Reading, he was the son of Jane L. (Harting) Wagner and the late Ronald G. Wagner. Scott was a graduate of Kutztown State College, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in English Education and a certification in Special Education. 

Scott was employed as a Special Education Teacher for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, Glenmoore Campus. He was also employed by the Penn State Berks Campus as an Information Resources and Services Support Specialist at the Thun Library. His hobbies included web design, brewing his own beer, playing the guitar, reading, and playing with his grandpup Winnie. 

Scott is survived by his wife Carolyn A. Wagner, of Reinholds; daughter Hannah N. Wagner, wife of Jim Kopaczewski, of Royersford; daughter, Sarah A. Wagner, of Reinholds, mother, Jane L. (Harting) Wagner, of Limerick; and sisters, Marcy Gilmartin, wife of David, of Royersford; Shelly Hendler, wife of Paul, of Londonderry, Vermont; and Jolynn Wagner, wife of John Gagnier, of Lincoln University. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. A service will be held at 6:00pm. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. The family would like to invite friends and family to Sly Fox Taphouse, 820 Knitting Mills Way, #100, Wyomissing, PA 19610 for a gathering following the service.
