Scott R. Taylor

Scott R. Taylor, 72, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Susan G. (Leonard) Taylor. Together they shared 46 years of marriage. Born on January 31, 1951, he was the son of the late Samuel and Jane (Ramsey) Taylor. Scott received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a degree in Nursing. During his life, Scott was a Registered Nurse for the Norristown State Hospital and lastly The Lutheran Home in Topton, until retirement.

Scott was an avid reader and relentless supporter of his family and friends. He believed his success was measured by the success of those he supported and sacrificed much to ensure fulfillment. His favorite moments came during private leisure with Sue their dogs and rabbits and sharing smiles and laughter with his children and grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his wife Susan G. Taylor, of Exeter Township; sons, Nathan S. Taylor, husband of Janelle L. Taylor, of Exeter Township; Zachary S. Taylor, husband of Aminta C. Taylor, of Chantilly, VA; 4 grandchildren, ZB, Nina, Owen and Bridget; brothers, Jeffrey Taylor, husband of Lynn, of MI and Timothy Taylor, of Reading. He was predeceased by his sister Sandra Scott.
