Scott S. Sowers, 39, of Douglassville, passed away at home on January 7, 2023. Born in Williamsport, PA, Scott was the son of Steven H. Sowers, and LuAnn R. (Dries) Sowers, He was also the loving fiancé to Caitlin Ann Jones with whom he resided. Scott was a graduate of Hamburg Area High School and went on to attend PENN STATE and Albright College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Scott worked as a Network Systems Administrator for Tristar Products, Inc. for the last 20 years. Scott loved ice hockey and was a long time New Jersey Devils fan. With his brother being a long time New York Rangers fan, they were rivals. He also loved the SF 49er’s, visiting a different stadium each year with friends to watch them play (If they only would have won one of those games). There was one home team that he rooted for, the Philadelphia Phillies. And even started coaching T-ball. Scott enjoyed the outdoors and you could find him kayaking, tubing, snowmobiling, or camping.
Family and friends meant everything to Scott, and he made sure to make time for everyone. Cherishing time with Cait and their Corgi kids to being the best friend, son, brother and UNCLE “OTT”.
Scott is survived by his brother, Andrew J. Sowers, husband of Tanya Marie, of Reading, and sister, Samantha Sowers, of Walnutport, PA.
He is also survived by his nephew, Boedy and niece, Harley, his stepmother, Tracy Wagner Sowers, his step siblings, Trevor Wagner, and Kaley Wagner. He is also survived by his loving Corgi’s (Lucy and Waffles), who were more like their children than pets.
