Scott W. Bricker

Scott W. Bricker, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at the Kutz Home in Wilmington, Delaware after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on May 21, 1956, in Reading, PA Scott lived a life filled with love, generosity, kindness, and joy.

Throughout his years, Scott enjoyed working on his classic cars, the annual family trip to Rehoboth, and volunteering as a dog walker at Faithful Friends. His passions included running, his beloved cats, scuba diving, watching NASCAR, the Steelers, and Penn State football, really all sports and exploring new places. Scott graduated from Penn State with an accounting degree and became a CPA and worked at Gunnip & Co. for 16 years.

Scott is survived by his devoted son, Joel (Doreen), his grandchildren William and Abigail, a daughter Kristin, and a brother, Jeff, plus many extending family members and friends. He is proceeded in death by his parents William and Nancy Bricker.

Scott leaves a big hole is our lives and will be missed my many. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer’s research or Faithful Friends Animal Shelter in Wilmington, DE in Scott’s honor.

A celebration of life will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. 6 Fairlane Road Reading, PA 19606 on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10:00am.Where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and love in remembrance. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 9:00am-10:00am.
